پانی دینے کا سائنسی طریقہ جو بتاتا ہے کہ ہمیں کس وقت پانی دینا چاہیے! 💦🌱 (اور سائنس اس بارے میں کیا کہتی ہے)
​کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ غلط وقت پر پانی دینے سے آپ کے پودے اپنا 40% تک پانی کھو سکتے ہیں یا بیمار بھی ہو سکتے ہیں؟ 😱 یہ صرف پانی دینے کی خاطر پانی بہانے کا معاملہ نہیں ہے؛ مؤثر آبپاشی (efficient irrigation) کی ایک طبیعیاتی اور حیاتیاتی (physical and biological) وضاحت ہے۔
​یہاں ہم بہت آسان طریقے سے اس کی سائنسی وجہ بیان کر رہے ہیں:
​☀️ 1۔ دوپہر کے وقت ایواپوٹرانسپائریشن (Evapotranspiration/بخارات بن کر اڑنے) کا خطرہ
​صبح 11:00 بجے سے دوپہر 3:00 بجے کے درمیان، سورج اور گرمی پانی کی مالیکیولی حرکت کو تیز کر دیتے ہیں، جس سے پانی زمین میں جذب ہونے سے پہلے ہی بخارات میں تبدیل ہو جاتا ہے۔ اس کا نتیجہ؟ 40% تک پانی ہوا میں اڑ جاتا ہے اور آپ کا پودا پیاسا رہ جاتا ہے۔
2۔ بہترین شیڈول: زیادہ سے زیادہ جذب ہونا (صبح کے وقت)
​سب سے بہترین وقت صبح 4:30 سے صبح 9:00 بجے تک کا ہے۔ رات بھر کے آرام کے بعد، مٹی نمی کو بہتر طریقے سے برقرار رکھتی ہے۔ جلدی پانی دینے سے، آپ "زائلم" (پودوں کی رگوں) کو اسی وقت متحرک کرتے ہیں جب فوٹوسنتھیسز (ضیاعی تالیف) کا عمل شروع ہوتا ہے۔ مزید برآں، آپ تھرمل شاک (شدید درجہ حرارت کے جھٹکے) سے بچ جاتے ہیں: دوپہر کی شدید گرمی میں ٹھنڈے پانی سے پودوں کو پانی دینے سے جڑوں پر دباؤ پڑتا ہے اور ان کا میٹابولزم متاثر ہوتا ہے۔
3 دوپہر کا مخمصہ (شام کو پانی دینا)
​شام 4:30 سے شام 6:30 کے درمیان پانی دینا ایک بہترین زندگی بچانے والا اقدام ہے اگر پودے نے دن بھر شدید گرمی برداشت کی ہو اور اسے اپنی سختی (turgor) کو دوبارہ بحال کرنے کی ضرورت ہو۔ لیکن ہوشیار رہیں! اگر آپ پتوں کو گیلا کر دیتے ہیں اور رات ہو جاتی ہے، تو پانی بخارات بن کر نہیں اڑے گا۔ رات کے وقت کی یہ نمی فنگس (پھپھوندی) اور پودوں کو نقصان پہنچانے والے بیکٹیریا کے لیے بہترین ماحول پیدا کرتی ہے۔
