Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company KPEZDMC (Govt. of KP) aims to begin a new era of Industrial Revolution in Managing 15 Economic Zones and by building 4 new Economic Zones.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZMDC) has been established as not for profit organization by Government of KP. The company is governed by board of directors from Public and Private sector. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development & Management Company, KPEZDMC aims to facilitate industrial growth by developing modern Economic Zones, leading to mass job

creation, skill enhancement and increased productivity that will ultimately contribute to poverty reduction & economic stability of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. KPEZDMC plans to build 17 economic zones around CPEC to promote industrialization and in the Province. Apart from the development of new Economic Zones and management of existing industrial estates, KPEZDMC is also working towards reviving sick industrial units throughout KP by giving industrialists marketing, management, financial and technical consultancies.

KPEZDMC management met with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) team to discuss SME value chains and ways to improve access to financing for businesses in KP Economic Zones. The discussion focused on strengthening links between KPEZDMC and State Bank of Pakistan to support industries, manufacturing companies, their suppliers and other businesses involved in value chain.

SBP will maintain close and regular liaison with industries through KPEZDMC zone offices to create awareness about available financial products and packages that can be designed to support KP industries. The initiative aims to help SMEs access suitable financing and achieve sustainable industrial growth in KP.

KPEZDMC celebrated Pakistan Independence Day with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm at its Head Office, with all Zone Offices across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also marking the occasion with equal zeal.

Zone Management, BoD Members and representatives of the industrial community participated in the celebrations. Flag hoisting, tree plantation, cake cutting and special prayers marked the occasion, while KPEZDMC offices and buildings were decorated and illuminated in the national colours.

On the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, KPEZDMC celebrated the spirit of freedom, unity and hope for our country.

At the Head Office, an elegant ceremony was held with Advisor to the Chief Minister KP on Industries & Commerce, Mr. Humayun Khan, as the Chief Guest. Members of the Board of Directors, CEO KPEZDMC and the management participated in the celebrations. The day included flag hoisting, tree plantation, cake cutting and prayers for Pakistan’s continued peace, prosperity and success.

Mr. Humayun Khan said:
“Our independence carries a responsibility to build a stronger Pakistan through industry, investment and opportunities for our people.”
