KPEZDMC participated in the Industry-Academia-PSF Synergy Day, hosted by the University of Haripur and led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, to advance collaboration for innovation, research, and regional development.
KPEZDMC Hattar's Zone Manager, accompanied by zone-based industrialists, contributed to deliberations on industrial growth, commercialization, and structured industry-academia cooperation. Participants included KiMs Industries, Viscolodes Industries, Qarshi Industries, and Volta, among other leading enterprises.
The dialogue highlighted pathways for student internships, joint research, scholarships, and employment reinforcing KPEZDMC's commitment to partnerships that drive innovation and sustainable regional development across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Project Commercialization Committee Visit Peshawar Economic Zone
A well-functioning economic zone is more than infrastructure it is safety, services, and a thriving commercial ecosystem.
Members of KPEZDMC's Project Commercialization Committee (PCC) conducted a structured visit to Peshawar Economic Zone on 14 May 2026, with a dual focus on operational readiness and commercial development within the zone.
The visit included a dedicated review of Rescue 1122's operational capacity at PEZ with discussions centred on improving emergency response efficiency and ensuring that safety standards within the zone meet the expectations of a modern industrial environment.
The Committee also explored actionable opportunities to strengthen the zone's commercial landscape — identifying avenues to broaden the service base available to the industrial community and create additional value for enterprises operating within PEZ.
KPEZDMC remains committed to developing economic zones that are operationally sound, commercially vibrant, and built around the needs of industry.

KPEZDMC, in collaboration with KPBOIT, facilitated the participation of industrialists and business leaders from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Investors’ Moot focused on strengthening Chinese B2B engagement and investment collaboration.

The session was addressed by Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who highlighted investment opportunities across key priority sectors, including industry, agriculture, IT, minerals, and others. The event provided an important platform for the business community to engage, present business proposals, and explore avenues for strategic partnerships and investment cooperation.

KPEZDMC continues to play an active role in connecting the local industry with emerging investment opportunities and fostering meaningful business linkages for sustainable economic growth in the province.

Building on its ongoing collaboration with Sustainable Development Policy Institute, KPEZDMC hosted a follow-up meeting with the SDPI team to advance discussions on institutional reform and economic governance frameworks. The meeting was held with the Chief Executive Officer and was also attended by the Chief Commercial Officer and respective teams.

The engagement focused on the next phase of reform appraisal and prioritisation, building on earlier consultations and the preliminary institutional assessment conducted by SDPI. Discussions centered on identifying practical and high-impact reform pathways to strengthen institutional effectiveness, governance systems, and evidence-based decision-making.

The session reaffirmed the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing policy support, institutional excellence, and strategic collaboration for sustainable economic development.

Chief Executive Officer, along with the senior management team, engaged directly with investors and stakeholders to hear concerns, address key issues, and ensure timely follow-up on actionable matters.

Greening the Future at D.I. Khan Economic Zone
