The CCNA 200-301 course is designed to cover foundational networking concepts and prepare you for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
1. Introduction to Networks
- Basics of networking and the OSI model
- Understanding TCP/IP protocols and models
- Basics of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing
- Networking devices: routers, switches, and access points
2. Network Access
- Layer 2 protocols: Ethernet, MAC addressing
- Switching concepts and VLANs
- Inter-VLAN routing
- Basics of Wi-Fi and wireless LANs
- Configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 switches
3. IP Connectivity
- Routing concepts and protocols
- Understanding and configuring static and dynamic routing (e.g., OSPF)
- IPv4 and IPv6 routing concepts
- Configuring routing on Cisco devices
4. IP Services
- DHCP and DNS services
- Network Address Translation (NAT)
- Access control lists (ACLs)
- Quality of Service (QoS) basics
5. Security Fundamentals
- Understanding security threats and vulnerabilities
- Configuring device security: passwords, SSH, and access control
- Introduction to network firewalls
- VPN concepts
6. Network Troubleshooting
- Common network issues and troubleshooting tools
- Using Cisco CLI for diagnostics
- Troubleshooting IP connectivity, VLANs, and routing issues
