“Faculty of Computer and Emerging Sciences” was established in 2002 with a single department, the BS Department of System Sciences. Initially this department offered two degrees BS Computer Science and Computer Engineering. The Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Telecommunication Engineering and the Department of Information Technology was established in 2003,2005, & 2006 respect

ively. “Faculty of Computer & Emerging Sciences” was renamed as “Faculty of Information & Communication Technology” in the first meeting of Senate held on June 23, 2007.

NIC Quetta is planning to conduct an awareness session for the students of FICT regarding the submission of business ideas for the Business Incubation Program (Cohort-12). This 90-minute session will be specifically targeted at final-year undergraduate and graduate students.

It is highly recommended that 8th-semester students attend the session to participate in the cohort.
