Supporting staff are the backbone of any institution, and their sincere service plays a vital role in keeping the work chain running smoothly. Mr. M. Rafique, Shop Assistant at Govt. College of Technology Sialkot, was one such humble, dedicated and dutiful employee who served the institution wholeheartedly throughout his remarkable 40-year career. On the occasion of his retirement, a special farewell was arranged in his honour, where Hon’ble Principal Mr. M. Shahbaz, Vice Principal Mr. M. Shabbir, and HOD Civil Mr. Ijaz Bajwa along with his staff paid tribute to his long-standing services, dedication and positive contribution to the college. The college administration and staff expressed their gratitude for his valuable services and wished him a happy, healthy and peaceful retired life.

The Honorable Chairman TEVTA, Brigadier Muhammad Sajid Khokhar SI (M) Retired, regional director (C) Miss uzma nadia, deputy director Zahid mehmood Ch visited Government College of Technology, Paris Road, Sialkot, today. During his visit, he inspected the under-construction Centre of Excellence and reviewed the progress of the ongoing development work. The Honorable Chairman identified several key areas requiring immediate attention and issued directions to address them promptly. He also emphasized the need to maintain the highest standards of construction quality and instructed the concerned officials to ensure the timely completion of the project in accordance with the approved specifications.

Later, the Honorable Chairman addressed the faculty and administrative staff of the college. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, and dedication in strengthening technical education. He urged the teaching staff to continuously improve their teaching methodologies, enhance practical and industry-oriented learning, and regularly update their knowledge in line with emerging technologies. He stressed that continuous professional development of teachers is essential for producing competent, skilled, and market-oriented graduates capable of meeting the demands of modern industries.

The Honorable Chairman expressed his confidence that the faculty and staff would sincerely implement the directions shared during the visit. He urged all officers and employees to work with unity, mutual cooperation, and a shared sense of responsibility for the betterment of the institution. It is hoped that, through collective efforts and unwavering commitment, Government College of Technology, Sialkot will continue to achieve new milestones of excellence in technical and vocational education.

The Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the Summer Boot Camp – Electrical Trade was successfully held at Government College of Technology (GCT), Sialkot.

The ceremony was graced by the worthy Principal, Mr. Muhammad Shahbaz, along with the respected Head of the Department of Electrical Technology, Mr. Afzal Bashir. Certificates were awarded to the successful participants in recognition of their dedication and successful completion of the boot camp.

On the occasion, the worthy Principal congratulated the trainees and appreciated their commitment to learning technical skills. He encouraged them to continue developing their professional abilities to contribute effectively to the industrial sector and the nation's progress.
