Our scientists have recently published the article in Frontiers in Microbiology magazine.

The research investigated receptor-binding proteins (RBPs) in . Our findings revealed that certain phages lack a known receptor-binding domain. We identified previously unannotated proteins that likely facilitate receptor recognition, suggesting an unidentified protein at the tail spike's tip. This discovery advances our understanding of bacteriophage-host interactions and holds implications for phage-based therapies.
