🌱 Growing knowledge together with Cultivation for Compounds

At Cultiwool, we believe that progress in medicinal cannabis cultivation comes from collaboration, practical research, and sharing knowledge across the industry.

That is why we are proud to be part of the Cultivation for Compounds (CfC) consortium, a collaboration bringing together expertise from across the cultivation chain to explore how precision growing methods, technology, and research can contribute to more consistent and reliable medicinal plant production.

As part of the cultivation setup, plants are grown using Cultiwool blocks featuring our distinctive Donut Ring technology. The Donut Ring is designed to help distribute irrigation more evenly throughout the block, supporting a more uniform root-zone environment and giving growers greater control over water and nutrient delivery.

For Cultiwool, participation in CfC is about more than supplying a substrate. It is about learning together, testing solutions in practice, and contributing knowledge that can help move professional medicinal cannabis cultivation forward.

What a month for Cultiwool!
June gave us the opportunity to connect with growers, partners, and horticulture professionals at two fantastic industry events in the Netherlands: GreenTech Amsterdam and the Leafy Hydroponics Summit hosted by Cultivators.

At GreenTech, we reached an exciting milestone by exhibiting with our own Cultiwool booth for the first time, together with our partner Knauf Insulation. It was a great opportunity to meet the industry face-to-face, discuss sustainable cultivation, and showcase how high-quality stone wool substrates support precision growing and root-zone performance.

Just a few days later, we continued the conversation at the Leafy Hydroponics Summit, where Ryan Wankel presented:
🎤 "From Plug to Profit: How Cultiwool Prime Redefines the Leafy Greens Plug"
The session explored how substrate innovation can support uniform propagation, crop steering, cultivation efficiency, and sustainable leafy greens production.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth, attended the presentations, asked questions, and shared ideas. Events like these remind us how much innovation is happening across horticulture and how valuable collaboration is in moving the industry forward.
