There is a unique rhythm to a shipyard when a vessel enters the outfitting phase. It’s the perfect choreography of heavy steel and high-precision engineering.

We are proud to share that everything is going exactly according to plan on Project NB162.

Our team is currently firing on all cylinders:
🔹 Pressure and tightness tests on the tanks are underway.
🔹 The wheelhouse is getting its "eyes" with the installation of the main windows.
🔹 Valves and piping systems are being fitted with millimetric accuracy.

The countdown to the launch has officially begun, and the pre-launch prep is just around the corner.

We are thrilled to share our latest project collaboration with Remontowa Shipbuilding: the prefabrication of hull sections for a cutting-edge, 48-meter fully electric ferry destined for a Scottish shipowner.

This vessel is part of a forward-thinking series designed to modernize connections between the Scottish islands. By charging its battery banks overnight and operating entirely on electric power throughout the day, it represents a massive leap forward in reducing CO2 emissions.

And for absolute safety at sea, it features emergency diesel generators equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology.

We also manufacture critical steel structures, such as piperacks, shell doors, and foundations. Most recently, we completed a specialized steel frame for one of our Business Partners, designed for transporting power transformers by aircraft.

It was an exciting challenge with a demanding 10-day turnaround.

NB160 has set course towards Norway, heading to Vaagland Båtbyggeri As. A moment where plans drawn on paper turn into real movement across open waters.

This is more than a departure – it’s the culmination of countless hours of engineering, craftsmanship and teamwork that don’t make headlines, but make everything possible.

NB160 is now on its journey to its new home under the care of Vaagland Båtbyggeri As, carrying the mark of every hand that helped bring it to life.
