The year is flying by and we're way over halfway through, so time for a small summary!

The last few months have been incredibly intense and rewarding for us at Stal-Rem. We're immensely proud of the diverse and ambitious projects we've successfully completed, showcasing the full spectrum of our capabilities and dedication.

From crucial deliveries for our long-term partners, to complex modernizations, intricate repairs, and innovative structural solutions – each project has been a testament to our passion, precision, and unwavering commitment. It's been a challenging period that we've proudly transformed into a series of achievements.

A huge thank you to our entire team and our valued partners for this remarkable time of successes and shared accomplishments!

Major vessel conversions demand real shipyard precision, and our current project at Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. is a prime example of what our team at Stal-Rem delivers every day.

We are converting a barge into a specialized seabed cable-laying vessel. A core part of this conversion is widening the hull by 8 meters by adding full-length sponsons along the entire starboard side.

Here is how we made it happen: After lifting the barge out of the water on a submersible pontoon, we brought in pre-fabricated sponson sections using a heavy floating crane and positioned them along the hull. To align every section down to the millimeter, our team utilized custom-designed technological supports and hydraulic cylinders before moving on to margin cutting, joint fitting, and full structural welding.

The result? Our specialists fabricated and installed 260 tons of new steel structures in just a few weeks.

Remember the 500-ton block we mentioned last month? Progress is moving fast at Stal-Rem.

We are currently assembling the 3rd tier, with 2 more to go. This massive structure will form the bow section of a 300-meter luxury cruise ship for a world-renowned operator, built in partnership with Marine Projects Ltd.

Ten months of teamwork, grit, and precision engineering have officially brought us to this proud milestone.

Together with our partners at Vaagland Båtbyggeri As, we have successfully completed the hulls for two twin hybrid service vessels, NB160 and NB162. Delivering these complex, green-tech structures exactly on time and to the highest quality standards is a true testament to what can be achieved when two dedicated teams align.

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Vaagland Båtbyggeri As for an exemplary, highly collaborative partnership, and to our incredible Stal-Rem team and subcontractors for the masterful craftsmanship that kept us on schedule.

There is a unique rhythm to a shipyard when a vessel enters the outfitting phase. It’s the perfect choreography of heavy steel and high-precision engineering.

We are proud to share that everything is going exactly according to plan on Project NB162.

Our team is currently firing on all cylinders:
🔹 Pressure and tightness tests on the tanks are underway.
🔹 The wheelhouse is getting its "eyes" with the installation of the main windows.
🔹 Valves and piping systems are being fitted with millimetric accuracy.

The countdown to the launch has officially begun, and the pre-launch prep is just around the corner.
