Prof. Piotr Trzonkowski to speak at three international scientific events focused on immune tolerance, Treg therapies and type 1 diabetes
This autumn, Prof. Piotr Trzonkowski, CEO and Co-Founder of PolTREG, will take part in three international scientific meetings bringing together leading experts in immunology, type 1 diabetes and regulatory T-cell research.
🇫🇷 Paris | September 25, 2026
At the conference “New challenges in the diagnosis and treatment of selected endocrinopathies and co-occurring diseases”, held at the Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Centre in Paris, Prof. Trzonkowski will present “Type 1 diabetes mellitus – breaking immune tolerance.”
🇮🇹 Milan | September 28, 2026
At the INNODIA Symposium on T1D Therapies, held during EASD 2026, Prof. Trzonkowski will participate in the T Cell Therapy session. The symposium is dedicated to promising disease-modifying approaches in type 1 diabetes – from immune intervention and beta-cell preservation to regeneration and cell-based therapies.
The event will bring together researchers and drug developers working on innovative T1D therapies, providing a platform to discuss approaches with the potential to change the course of the disease.
🇨🇳 Beijing | October 13–15, 2026
Prof. Trzonkowski will also be among the confirmed speakers at the 2026 Regulatory T Cell Clinical Development Summit, an international event dedicated specifically to the clinical development and translation of Treg-based therapies.
The Beijing summit will bring together leading scientists in the field, including Shimon Sakaguchi and Fred Ramsdell, 2025 Nobel Prize laureates whose discoveries on peripheral immune tolerance and regulatory T cells helped establish the scientific foundations of this rapidly developing therapeutic field.
Three meetings, one common theme: how advances in understanding immune tolerance and regulatory T cells can be translated into new therapeutic approaches for type 1 diabetes and other autoimmune diseases.
For PolTREG, participation in Paris, Milan and Beijing is an opportunity to contribute to this international scientific discussion and present the Company’s expertise as the Treg field advances from fundamental research towards clinical development and therapeutic applications.
