Zespół GreenBack oraz Division of Biogenic Raw Materials zaprezentował nowe podejście do zagospodarowania produktów ubocznych z przemysłu leśnego w ramach projektu CEforestry !
🗓 On 19-21 November 2025, a meeting summarizing the results of the - Innovation in forestry biomass residue processing: towards circular forestry with added value products project (Interreg Baltic Sea Region) was held in Uppsala, Sweden, organized by the project leader, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
The event gathered project partners as well as representatives of the target groups. The program featured 22 presentations and thematic sessions dedicated to, among others, the applications of tannins, stakeholder perspectives, innovations, circular economy business models ( ), and the use of forestry biomass. 🌲
The Division of Biogenic Raw Materials, together with Greenback (Dariusz Włóka), presented research results on:
🌿 Closing the loop: CE business model for forestry biomass residues,
🌱 From forest to future: Education Roadmap for the social acceptance of forest biomass.
The meeting was not only an opportunity to exchange knowledge and present results but also to strengthen dialogue between science, industry and stakeholders. 🤝
The cultural program - including visits to Uppsala Cathedral, the Gustavianum Museum, and the Carolina Rediviva library - helped build relationships and deepen understanding of the local context. 🌅
The workshop concluded with a discussion on recommendations. It was an inspiring experience that opens the door to further cooperation and the development of innovative solutions in the forestry sector. 🌲
