From promising models to real clinical implementation.

AIMed 2026 in Kraków brought together clinicians, researchers, and technology leaders to discuss how AI is moving from experimentation into practical healthcare and drug discovery applications.

Ardigen joined the conversation with:

• Michal Warchol, PhD, MBA joined a panel moderated by Krzysztof Pyrc, PhD, MBA.

• Dawid Rymarczyk, PhD shared insights on “Defeating E-room’s law with AI: Real-world data-driven drug discovery”

One year after launching Elsa 1.0, the FDA has expanded its internal AI assistant organization-wide.

Elsa 4.0 now supports:
- Custom agentic AI
- Data analysis & visualization
- Document generation & text recognition
- Secure web search capabilities

At the same time, the FDA consolidated 40+ data systems into a unified platform called HALO, enabling staff to query information and build workflows without manually moving documents between systems.

Importantly, the FDA states that Elsa does not train on regulated industry submissions, and human experts remain involved throughout the process.

According to Chief AI Officer Jeremy Walsh, the goal is to accelerate regulatory science and help speed the path to new treatments and cures.
