As we do every year we’ve organized a quiz for our Employees, giving them a chance to join in and compete for prizes 🏆 This year’s edition has an educational twist, with all questions focused on fruits and vegetables 🍎🥦 - an engaging way to inspire learning 📚 and more mindful, eco‑friendly choices ♻️

Although we celebrate Earth Day today, we take care of the planet all year round 💪 For years, we’ve offered a line of organic products, we use eco‑friendly packaging, encourage our Employees to commute by bike 🚴‍♂️ and prioritize renewable energy sources in our operations ☀️💨

This year, for the first time, we formally confirmed these efforts by completing the EcoVadis assessment proces 📝

Każdy produkt otrzymywał punkty za: wygląd, aromat, słodycz, kwasowość, soczystość, chrupkość oraz wrażenia ogólne 📊 Wśród ocenianych znalazły się odmiany winogron jasnych, różowych i czarnych.

Analiza zebranych odpowiedzi pozwoliła wyciągnąć wnioski dotyczące tego, które cechy są najważniejsze przy wyborze idealnego owocu 📈

Znajomość preferencji konsumenckich jest kluczowa dla naszych działów Zakupu, Sprzedaży oraz Kontroli Jakości 💪💼

We have wrapped up another sensory panel session ✨ This time, our Employees put as many as nine varieties of seedless grapes to the test 🍇

Each product was rated on the following categories: appearance, aroma, sweetness, acidity, juiciness, crunchiness, and overall impression 📊 The varieties that were assessed included white, red, and black grapes.

An analysis of the responses has given us great insights into which characteristics matter most in the process of selecting the perfect fruit 📈

Understanding consumer preferences is crucial for our Purchasing, Sales and Quality Control departments 💪💼

The assessment covered four key areas:

⚖️ ethics,
♻️ sustainable procurement.

For a company operating in the business of importing and distributing fresh fruit and vegetables 🍎🥦🍊 this was a demanding process that involved many people and areas of the organisation 👨‍💼👩‍💼 Thanks to the joint efforts and professionalism of our team, we have completed it with a bronze medal! 🥉 This means we are in the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis over the last 12 months 📊🌟

What does this mean for our partners?

✔️ confirmation that the organisation has been independently assessed using a methodology based on international sustainability standards,
