Which laser system performs better for ceramic mug engraving: 3D Dynamic Focus or 2D Galvo with rotary?

We tested it on a real curved-surface application.

With mugs, it’s not only about the final look. Stability, repeatability, detail quality and production efficiency matter just as much.

3D Dynamic Focus allows precise work on curved surfaces without traditional rotation, while 2D Galvo with rotary depends more on axis setup, rotation stability and product geometry.
