Peat has specific water retention characteristics that most greenhouse irrigation protocols are built around. Switch to a different substrate and apply the same schedule and you'll either overwater or underwater (both damage the crop). 🌱
FibriAgri™ behaves differently from peat by design. Initial hydration takes under a minute when the plug contacts water – it wicks through the entire volume in approximately 20 seconds!

ℹ️During the rooting stage, it typically requires less frequent watering than peat.
