XSTEP 2: When Knowledge Becomes Practice
How does a commissioning process actually work in practice, and how can theoretical knowledge be applied directly at the machine?
XSTEP 2 focused on these questions. 12 participants from the U.S., Mexico, Australia, Romania, Norway, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Turkey came together for two weeks of intensive training.
From automation and variable-frequency drives to separators and belt presses, as well as basic CE knowledge, laboratory tests and CIP, the participants deepened their expertise in commissioning and start-ups.
The clear focus: learning by doing. In the new Process Center, participants carried out complete commissioning procedures on various test machines. Specific requirements for commissioning in the hygiene sector were also covered through hands-on training.
At the end of the program, the participants demonstrated their newly acquired knowledge in a test.
Thank you to all trainers as well as participating departments—ATE, process engineering, Commissioning Team, belt press machine engineering and CE. Their expertise and dedication made XSTEP 2 possible!
