Hello, we are the Laser Engraver Team from the University of Technology in Wrocław, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, taking part in Xplore New Automation Award 2015 contest. Our goal is to construct a fully automated, blue light laser engraver, capable of working in different materials including plastic, wood and even metal. Aside from basic functionality the project is aimed at equipping our en
graver with ability to process digital images which will allow you to transfer your pictures onto a surface of almost any material in the world. If during our presentation you realize that you forgot to take the picture of yourself that you wanted to have engraved, don't worry. Thanks to the digital camera module mounted on our machine you will be able to take picture of you and your friends and then engrave it in one of the vast range of materials that our engraver will be able to work in.
