We were pleased to welcome Marcus Motschenbacher to LTPR, this time as he prepared to officially step into the role of Interim Managing Director on May 1st, succeeding CEO Joerg Speri, who will be taking on a new professional challenge outside the LHT Group.
During his visit, he connected with multiple leaders across the organization and met with employees from all departments over lunch and afternoon coffee breaks, taking the time to understand our operations and the people behind them. Our facility and team's dedication left a positive impression on him, who also acknowledged the importance of balancing workload as we continue to grow.
A highlight was his participation in a scheduled foam fire suppression system test in one of our bays. This emergency system, which is tested every 5 years as required by the National Fire Protection Association, is aligned with our hangar classification, safety regulations, and operational set-up. It ensures the system is effective and ready to protect our people, aircraft, and infrastructure.
Seeing leadership engaged firsthand in this safety process reinforces our shared commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
