It was a very tough competition. Our Space cadet had a very restricted budget and time-frame to complete all the requirements. Even so they continued to amaze us throughout the weekend and accomplished every challenge ahead of them.
With that said, we want to thank our judges who had the hardest job of evaluating the habitats and all the people who were present supporting and voting for the best team. The winner was chosen with 50% of the evaluation of the judges and the other 50% with the vote of each one of you. On the polls there were 5,052 votes.

All of the teams did a tremendous job in presenting in such a short period of time. The winning team is of the Virtual Space Integrative Program was ✨

At 4:00pm our high school students will present their Mars Habitats ✨ Six teams competing with each other to provide the most viable concept for a Mars base by the next decade 🚀
You’ll have the opportunity to VOTE for your favorite team and see the judges feedback on their projects.

Our students, in our Virtual Space Integrative Program, will have the pleasure of learning about our special guest, Allan Fret. Allan lived all his life in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and started out in the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamón. He is now currently a software engineer at NASA Kennedy Space Center. Allan will talk with our students and offer some motivating words for their future!
