A Delta Loop Antenna is a triangular wire antenna widely used in amateur radio for
HF communication. Its total wire length is approximately one wavelength at the operating frequency. The triangular shape provides efficient radiation and can support long-distance communication. A horizontal plastic tube maintains the shape, while a fishing pole provides vertical support. A quarter-wave 75 Q coaxial matching section can help connect the loop to a 50 Q feed line, depending on feed-point impedance.
Delta loops are popular for portable stations, field operations, and DX communication.
