Engineering Project Coordinator / Field Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in civil and structural engineering, with experience in drafting and project management. This position requires strong coordination, and reporting skills for projects evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and follow up on project proposals.
• Coordinate project scope with clients and project teams.
• Plan and coordinate the collection of samples and data for forensic structural testing.
• Account for the number of tests to be conducted and identify the structural elements to be tested.
• Process and verify the integrity of collected project data.
• Prepare AutoCAD details of sampled structural elements and produce forensic reports.
• Conduct quality control of the team’s work.
• Learn to use GPR, Ferroscan, and other forensic data collection tools.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; EIT Certification preferred.
• Candidate MUST be Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish), written and verbal.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit and ETABS is a plus, but not required
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in construction practices.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle PDF files.
• Interest and eagerness to learn, with an openness to new ideas.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
