To all of our clients, partners, and friends:
I am writing today to inform you that the Pieri Architects team will be working remotely from our homes during the two-week public health curfew executed by the Government of Puerto Rico to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus. We will be able to perform most normal work functions through our cloud-based work platform, and as always, we can be reached by e-mail or phone.
From March 16 through March 30, 2020, we will reschedule or coordinate face-to-face meetings and conference calls. I will be reaching out to you to coordinate our efforts during the next two weeks.
We share in the optimism that the two-week curfew will enable a significant reduction in the severity of the Covid-19 outbreak in Puerto Rico and safeguard our individual and collective well-being.

When you watch this, let the physical destruction in this video remind you of the fact the destruction represents more than mere insurance claims, but is in fact the destruction of peoples lives and livelihoods. Hurricane Maria is above all else an unfolding humanitarian disaster that will have repercussions far into the future for Puerto Rico and the U.S.
