A 24 de novembro celebrou-se o Dia Nacional da Cultura Científica, em homenagem do grande disseminador de ciência Prof. Rómulo de Carvalho, também conhecido pelo seu pseudónimo literário António Gedeão.
No grupo de investigação DES Solve acreditamos que a comunicação em ciência deve chegar a todas as audiências. Hoje explicamos o que fazemos à comunidade não-cientifica.

On the 24th November we celebrate the National Day for the Scientific Culture, in honor of the great science disseminator Prof. Rómulo de Carvalho,also known by his literary pseudonym António Gedeão.

At DES Solve Research group we believe that communicating science has to target all audiences, and today we explain what we are doing for a non-scientific audience.

On the final day of IMDES, we had a great Plenary talk by Dr. Mara Freire on the pharmaceutical applications of DES 💊
Our conference ended with great news: in 2026, the 5th IMDES will be hosted by Ahmedabad University in India!

The second day of IMDES started with a plenary talk by Prof. Leslie Boudesocque-Delay 🧪
The participants of the 4th IMDES ended the day by the ocean, with a nice sunset view and dinner on the beach! ☀️

On the second of IMDES we had a Plenary talk by Dr. Christoph Held on the fundamentals of DES.
We proceeded with a full day of oral communications and had a great poster session!
