Microalgae sit at the base of marine life. They feed the ocean's food web, and through photosynthesis, they help the ocean absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

As sea temperatures rise, scientists are observing shifts in how these microorganisms grow, bloom, and survive, changes that ripple through entire marine ecosystems.

☀️ How do you test what happens when direct sunlight meets controlled temperature and humidity, without waiting for the weather to cooperate?

Meet the TESTA 1.000 CT SUN, Aralab's solar radiation chamber. It reproduces full-spectrum sunlight indoors and is suitable for tests according to DIN 75220, so you can qualify materials and components against real-world solar exposure on your own schedule.

🔬 Inside the chamber:
- Full-spectrum solar simulator matching the AM1.5 global spectrum, with irradiance adjustable from 600 up to 1 200 W/m²
- Non-uniformity below ±10%, short-term instability below ±2% and long-term instability below ±5%
- Combined climatic testing alongside solar radiation, from -20 °C to +100 °C and 10 to 80% rH. With irradiation off, the chamber covers -52 °C to +150 °C and 10 to 90% rH
