A necessidade da empresa mãe (LASA) em obter regularidade de entregas e garantia qualidade nos fios, foi a semente da criação da FILASA. Arrancamos com 768 fusos de OPEN - END para muito rapidamente e fruto de uma dinâmica impressionante e procura do mercado pelos nossos fios, chegarmos perto dos 3.000 pontos de fiar em OPEN-END. Atualmente a Filasa é considerada uma das mais modernas instalações

de fiação e tinturaria em fio, ocupando uma área de mais 15.000 m2, empregando cerca de 150 pessoas e produzindo mais de 500 toneladas de fio por mês.
