22 de maio é feriado municipal em Leiria 🇵🇹
Leiria foi elevada a cidade por D. João III em 1545 — o mesmo rei que teve um papel importante no início da presença portuguesa no Brasil.
Quase 500 anos depois, foi Leiria a cidade que escolhemos para a nossa primeira filial europeia de madeira de teca certificada vinda do Brasil.

May 22nd is a municipal holiday in Leiria 🇵🇹
Leiria was granted city status by King João III in 1545 — the same king who played a key role in the beginning of Portugal’s presence in Brazil.
Almost 500 years later, Leiria became the city we chose for our first European branch for certified teak wood from Brazil.
