VEKTE lands this Friday. Things might get a little strange. 🌀
A sequencer that can arpeggiate its own sequences, reshape its own generators and run an LFO cycle lasting 16,000 years. A few rabbit holes to explore:
→ 115,856,201 algorithm combinations. In ONE channel. That’s just choosing an algorithm for the note lane and each of its four modulation lanes. Before touching their controls, routing or LFOs.
→ A 16-step bass line with a 15-step accent pattern. The notes loop while the accents keep moving around them. Simple setup, constantly shifting groove.
→ A sequence playing an arpeggiator playing another arpeggiator. Let a slow chord progression conduct a faster phrase, then give individual notes their own inner arpeggios with Quick Arp.
→ Notes that control the modulation. Restart an LFO with every strummed voice or ratchet, or let it move only while notes sound—holding its position through silence and continuing on the next note.
→ WTFO: What The Frequency Oscillator. Stretch a 1,000-year cycle by another 16×. We recommend saving your project.
And when you find something you love, keep it. Branch it. Share it as a short key or QR code. Deterministic means the same saved recipe brings back the same pattern.
16 polyphonic, polymetric channels. 41 algorithms. Plenty of room to get pleasantly lost.
Desktop launch: Friday, 16 October.
Pre-orders open: €34.99 instead of €44.99.
iPadOS launch date to be announced.
