The Health and Technology Research Center (H&TRC) is a R&D institution that was created in 2016 and comprises 4 main research areas:
- Genetics and Metabolism
- Environment and Health
- Gerontology and Geriatric Health
- Radiation and Health

H&TRC is pleased to welcome PhD candidate Laura Carrasco Fernández, who is joining us for an international research internship under the coordination of Dr. Teresa Tomás. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry (2021) and a Master’s degree in Research on Physical Activity and Sport (2022), both from the University of Malaga, Spain, where she is currently pursuing her PhD in the field of Physical Activity and Sport. Her research skills and expertise cover areas such as gait analysis, biomechanics, movement analysis, rehabilitation, posture, physical rehabilitation, sports injuries, muscle function, injury prevention, and sport biomechanics.
