This project is a full renovation of an apartment in a century-old building on the historic Rua de São Bento, transforming it into a contemporary home for a foreign couple with the additional use of the attic. The design aims to enhance the architectural character of the site while adapting the living concept to modern needs, where light and proportion become the main protagonists. The project embraces a minimalist aesthetic, free from excessive ornamentation, with bespoke built-in furniture integrated with indirect lighting.

The concept is defined by the creation of a continuous light element that unifies the space between the two façades, complemented by the introduction of new roof windows to maximise natural light and expand the sense of spatiality. The chromatic palette is neutral, preserving the texture of the original walls. Materiality plays a key role through contrast and noble expression: solid wood flooring acts as a unifying element, contrasting with marble stone applied in the flooring and in large-scale pieces within the wet areas, revealing the true grandeur of the material. The renovation symbolises the meeting point between tradition and modernity in the heart of Lisbon.

The Caxias Apartment is located in one of the oldest areas of Oeiras, close to the Cartuxa Convent. Developed by Atelier Bruno Câmara Arquitetos and built by CVZ Construções, this is a total renovation of a two-bedroom apartment from the 1990s.
The client, a young couple, invited the Atelier to carry out this architectural renovation project, considering that this apartment was their first home.

The renovation opted to demolish the existing walls in the entrance hall, living room, and kitchen, creating a new large social space, with the kitchen open to the living room, making the most of the natural light. The private space is enhanced through the creation of a master suite with a dressing room, which allows for a more comfortable and contemporary living space.

Walls and furniture define spatiality with a neutral palette and wooden floors, the unifying elements between the various spaces.
Materiality is defined by the use of solid wood on the floor, and marble stone in the kitchen area open to the living room and in the sanitary facilities.
This is a rehabilitated apartment that not only provides a new home, but is also a more comfortable and contemporary way of living for this young couple.

Located in Campo Grande in Lisbon, next to the University of Lisbon garden and the Colégio Moderno school. The apartment in Campo Grande was built by CVZ Construções and designed by Atelier Bruno Câmara Arquitectos, using a turnkey concept.
The private client's preliminary program was a total renovation of a two-bedroom apartment with a patio.
The project concept is characterized by a monochrome, abstract, white patio, in which a swimming pool was created, allowing the natural light from the southwest to be reflected and projected into the house's interior. Casa em Lisboa is a single-family house on a plot of land with a view of the Vale do Silêncio in the Encarnação neighborhood. The concept of the project is characterized by the interior/exterior connection to create spatial continuity and the antagonism between tradition and innovation defines it. By altering only the side and rear of the structure, the single-family dwelling gained a new body with a flat roof, which aligns with the roof of the pre-existing dwelling, thus creating a hybrid of architectural contrasts.

The project "Avenida de Berna Apartment" involves a total renovation of an apartment in the city center, In this intervention, the aesthetic language, architectural articulation, and characteristics of Avenidas Novas were preserved. The project involves converting a 158 m² apartment into a T4-type residence with a master suite. The client is a family from Lisbon with two grown-up children, who intend to create a more comfortable, functional, and contemporary inhabit.

The main project objectives consist of redefining and transforming its existing interior areas, focusing on natural light and spatial design. Creating a spatiality of its own that symbolizes a new harmonious, more comfortable, and inviting, way of living in Avenidas Novas.

The project "Artilharia 1 Apartment" involves the renovation of an apartment in the city center, a complete remodeling project converting a 202 m² office into a T4-type residence with a master suite. The client, a real estate investment company, aimed to enhance the apartment through signature architecture and position it in the luxury housing market.

The project rebuilt the apartment, focusing on natural light and spatial design, while preserving the historical value of the surrounding architecture and adapting it to modern living standards. This created a harmonious and inviting comfort essential for living in the apartment, where light and simplicity take center stage.
