The IRSg of ISR-Lisboa was founded in 2010, and resulted of the fusion, over 16 years, of former ISR groups, namely the Intelligent Control and the AI and Manufacturing Systems Labs (2001) - leading to the intelligent Systems Lab, and of the latter with the Mobile Robotics group in 2010. The group has been coordinated by Pedro U. Lima since 2010.
