The YAT is a partnership of public and private entities, either collective or individual, that are devoted to study, research, and the promotion of Aerospace and Sea Science. itutions and Advanced Studies
A.1 – The approach adopted by the YAT
The systematic arrangement of the analytical principles for the study, research, elaboration of proposals and projects conducting a uniform methodology, the participant will learn:
• The basic principles of navigation;
• Understand the complexity of an aircraft/vessel using models of design and dynamics;
• The basic use of instruments of navigation;
• Propulsion in all kind of the systems;
• Identify specific Challenges
• Overlook a multidisciplinary approach suitable for understanding and addressing the use of technology to address the challenges;
• Compare existing aircrafts and vessels, identifying advantages;
• Show a strong will in providing future resources for practitioners;
• Provide a vision of specific challenges and opportunities and threats to be faced;
• Provide in a near future an analysis forum for reforms on National Strategies. A.2 – Areas of Work
Key areas of focus will be the subject of debate between the organization’s members. Interest areas:
i) Design
ii) Propulsion
iii) Maneuver skills
iv) Innovation
v) Future professional career
In each of these areas (and perhaps some others) the central analytical approach will be how the intangible assets of institutions in these sectors can be so allocated as to provide assistance to a future generation. B) GOALS
B.1 – Organizational Goals
• To secure funds adequate for the purpose of the network.
• To establish core group members committed to each priority area.
• To develop a forum for high quality debate and research in the field of Youth motivation and interest on technical studies and careers
• To develop education and training resources and the means for them to be used in mainstream education and training institutions of the network. B.2 – Outputs of the YAT
• Development of skills framed knowledge and responses to specific challenges
• Development of training materials to use to address challenges
• Publishing and diffusion of existing and new works of research in Portuguese and English
• To develop a vibrant and innovative community addressing these challenges, through evidence based research
• Systemization of materials in Portuguese / English as an open resource available on the web.
