A Week of Connections for SEAentia

Last week, team SEAentia was once again covering two major events: CONXEMAR in Vigo (Spain) and NordicRAS in Aalborg (Denmark).

At CONXEMAR, one of the biggest seafood fairs in Spain, we made valuable industry contacts, explored important partnerships to help us upscale and contributed to Sea2See project presentation at Xunta de Galicia’s stand.

NordicRAS is a “must attend” conference for anyone working in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems, that happens every two years. This year in Aalborg, we got to witness state-of-the-art scientific developments in RAS and exchange experiences with other colleagues from the aquaculture industry and academia.

These events and the knowledge exchange that come with them, are what drives us to keep improving into a more efficient and sustainable operation.
Stay tunned for more updates!

In a number of days, experts are heading to Vigo, Spain, for the Exhibition - one of the most important international meeting spots for the frozen seafood sector ❄️

Everyone interested to learn more about the seafood traceability platform will have the opportunity to engage directly with our tech developers in informal conversations at ANFACO-CYTMA's booth on 🗓️October 7, between 11:30 and 12:00 o'clock

The following day, October 8 at 11:00 o'clock, we are pleased to invite you to Xunta de Galicia booth, where we’ll dive deeper into the SEA2SEE traceability technology - a blockchain-powered solution designed to bring genuine transparency across the seafood value chain.

🔍 What we will talk about:
𝑨 𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆

𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 & 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒓-𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒔

𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍-𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒂, 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔

🤝 In a world where trust in food systems is more vital than ever, we’re showing how technology can be the cornerstone for responsible seafood practices.

🐟 Whether you're a seafood professional👩‍🍳 , tech enthusiast or sustainability advocate - come see how traceability is brought to life.

Let’s make smarter seafood choices‼️

SEAentia was out in force at in Valencia! We couldn’t bring the whole team (someone has to keep an eye on the fish 🐟🐟👀) but the ones who came made the most out of this conference!

We had the chance to present the results of the Sea2See on corvina traceability and contribute to the NOWA Network of Women in Aquaculture roundtable discussion on “Attracting new talents in Aquaculture: think out of the box, be disruptive and inclusive!”. 💪

It was a specially enriching event, where we got to see old friends, meet new ones and learn about the latest developments shaping the future of aquaculture.

A special congratulations to European Aquaculture Society - EAS - Student Group for surpassing 3K in attendance! 👏👏
Looking forward to in Ljubljana and celebrating the 50th anniversary of European Aquaculture Society - EAS - Student Group! 🥳
