O evento terá lugar no dia 2 de Junho de 2026, em Faro, Portugal, com a possibilidade de participar presencialmente ou online.

Este evento de um dia reunirá decisores políticos, representantes da indústria, investigadores e a sociedade civil para explorar como a rastreabilidade, a transparência e a inovação podem apoiar um sector do pescado mais sustentável e fiável na Europa.

Os participantes debaterão perspectivas políticas e de mercado, os principais resultados do projecto SEA2SEE e oportunidades de colaboração no âmbito da Economia Azul.

Invitation | SEA2SEE Final Conference | 2 June 2026

We are pleased to invite you to the SEA2SEE Final Conference - “Trust and Transparency in Europe’s Seafood Future”!

The event will take place on 2 June 2026, in Faro, Portugal, with the possibility to join in person or online.

This one-day event will bring together policymakers, industry, researchers and civil society to explore how traceability, transparency and innovation can support more sustainable and trustworthy seafood systems in Europe.

Participants will engage with policy and market perspectives, key results from the SEA2SEE project, and opportunities for collaboration across the Blue Economy.

This conference has also been endorsed as an activity of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development!

A Week of Connections for SEAentia

Last week, team SEAentia was once again covering two major events: CONXEMAR in Vigo (Spain) and NordicRAS in Aalborg (Denmark).

At CONXEMAR, one of the biggest seafood fairs in Spain, we made valuable industry contacts, explored important partnerships to help us upscale and contributed to Sea2See project presentation at Xunta de Galicia’s stand.

NordicRAS is a “must attend” conference for anyone working in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems, that happens every two years. This year in Aalborg, we got to witness state-of-the-art scientific developments in RAS and exchange experiences with other colleagues from the aquaculture industry and academia.

These events and the knowledge exchange that come with them, are what drives us to keep improving into a more efficient and sustainable operation.
