Entogenex Europe is now called Neovictus!
Since our inception, our mission is to collaborate for a greener, better world! Among other things, this means improving our relationship with the environment, how we produce our food and our way of life. Neovictus represents better that mission: Neo (new, in Greek) + Victus (way of life/livelihood, in Latin).
We are focused on developing solutions for both agricultural and urban plagues that are harmful to crop production and/or human health. We target the insect’s digestive system and develop target-specific biopesticides non-toxic to the environment and biodegradable.
We are based in Portalegre, Portugal, but the concept of “think global” has been there from the beginning. Our project originated in the United States and travelled around the world, to Malaysia, Singapore and Brazil, before landing in Portugal, where we consolidated the knowledge and are developing products for livestock and crop protection.
Farmers need to use increasing amounts of toxic substances to protect their crops and increase food production. The pesticides used remain on our food and soil long after harvest. This occurs everywhere in the world. This is a global problem, and we believe we will need a global solution. Our mindset is to make a relevant contribution to this solution!

Entogenex Europe é agora a Neovictus!
Desde o início, a nossa missão é colaborar por um mundo mais verde, um mundo melhor! Entre outras coisas, isto significa que queremos melhorar a nossa relação com o meio ambiente, com a forma como produzimos a nossa comida e a nossa maneira de viver. Neovictus representa melhor essa missão: Neo (novo, em Grego) + Victus (modo de vida, em Latim).
Estamos focados no desenvolvimento de soluções para pragas agrícolas e de saúde pública, que prejudicam a agricultura e a saúde humana. Atingimos o sistema digestivo dos insetos, desenvolvendo biopesticidas específicos, não tóxicos para o ambiente e biodegradáveis.
Estamos sediados em Portalegre, Portugal, mas o conceito de “pensamento global” está connosco desde o início. O nosso projeto teve origem nos Estados Unidos da América e viajou por todo o mundo, passando por Malásia, Singapura e Brasil, antes de chegar a Portugal, onde consolidámos o conhecimento e estamos a desenvolver produtos para proteção agropecuária.
Os agricultores precisam utilizar quantidades cada vez maiores de substâncias tóxicas para protegerem a sua plantação e aumentar a produção agrícola. Os pesticidas utilizados permanecem na nossa comida e nos solos durante muito tempo. É um problema global e acreditamos que vamos precisar de uma solução global. O nosso foco é contribuir, de forma relevante, para esta solução!
