🌕 The Biggest Moon of the Year Is Coming! 🌌✨

On the night of November 5, the second supermoon of the year—the Super Beaver Moon—will rise across the world. 🌍

This will be the biggest and brightest full Moon of 2025, appearing up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than a typical micromoon.

📸 Step outside, look up, and let the Moonlight flood the night—you won’t want to miss this dazzling lunar spectacle! 🌕💫

Stephen Hawking was right! A black hole collision just proved his theorem with near certainty.

For more than 50 years, Stephen Hawking’s “black hole area theorem” remained a bold but untested idea.

Now, thanks to one of the loudest black hole collisions ever recorded, physicists have finally confirmed it. Using upgraded detectors at the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO), researchers captured the ripples in space-time from GW250114, a merger between two black holes roughly 1.3 billion light years away.

The data revealed that the final black hole’s event horizon area was indeed larger than the sum of its predecessors—exactly as Hawking predicted in 1971. The result strengthens the analogy between black holes and thermodynamics, where disorder, like surface area, can only increase.

This milestone pushes gravitational wave astronomy into a new era of precision. The waves from GW250114 were twice as strong as any previously observed, allowing scientists to measure the “ringing” overtones of the merged black hole with unprecedented clarity. The findings not only confirm Hawking’s theorem with 99.999 percent confidence but also reinforce Roy Kerr’s 1960s equations showing that black holes are defined only by mass and spin. As observatories grow even more sensitive, researchers expect future detections will probe the limits of general relativity and perhaps expose the long-sought link between quantum mechanics and gravity.
