NEW MILESTONE ACHIEVED | CLINICAL TRIAL APPLICATION APPROVED FOR OUR ANALGESIC PROGRAM

Sea4Us received the approval for of its lead analgesic program - S072, a non-opioid for chronic and cute pain of moderate and severe pain levels.
With clinical site activation on the 30th of April, First in Humans activities will initiate in May 2026. Strong preclinical safety and product profile back our S072’s promising and superior efficacy when compared to the standards of care.

This is the result of a long path, that started inspired by the , harnessed by deep on the mechanisms and physiopathology of disease, and developed into a for human health by a highly skilled and motivated team, focused on a safe alternative to the current solutions.

Semana passada tivemos a visita da Joana Schenker à nossa estação marinha. Juntos por uma paixão e inspiração partilhada que é o Mar, em particular o mar de Sagres.

Iremos estar novamente juntos dia 16 de Maio em Faro, no evento 'No Algarve, juntos fazemos caminho'. É um evento publico, com várias atividades e estão convidados a se juntarem a nós.

We are proud to share that our CEO, Pedro Lima, took part in a roundtable discussion at BIO-Europe Spring 2026, Europe’s largest spring biotech partnering event, bringing together more than 3,700 leaders and innovators across the life sciences industry.

In this forum, Sea4Us contributed to the conversation on the ocean’s potential as a source of truly unconventional chemistries for human health, shaped by millions of years of evolution in extreme environments. It was also an opportunity to showcase our lead program and broader pipeline, highlighting how marine biodiversity can be transformed into innovative therapeutic solutions with global relevance.

The discussion also touched on the position of biotech in Portugal within the international landscape, and on the need for stronger alignment across the ecosystem, investors, and ambition under a shared global vision.

A Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto (FMUP) está a recrutar 150 voluntários para um novo ensaio clínico com o objetivo de avaliar o impacto da ingestão de algas na redução do risco cardiovascular. Os participantes deverão ter mais de 50 anos e elevado risco cardiovascular ou história de AVC (acidente vascular cerebral) ou de ataque cardíaco (enfarte do miocárdio) e dispostos a adicionar à sua dieta uma suplementação à base de algas.

🔬🐭 Sea4Us gets on with European Animal Research Association .eara

Today we join the initiative by the European Animal Research Association to encourage open, evidence-based conversations around the role of animal models in scientific research.

At Sea4Us, we believe that responsible, ethical, and transparent research is essential to developing new therapeutic solutions for unmet clinical needs. As part of the campaign, we talked with our Project Managers and PhD Student and asked them to share their testimonials on the value and relevance of animal experimentation in their projects.

📢 The reflections of our PMs highlight the importance of animal models in translational research, the development of new molecules, and the study of complex conditions such as chronic pain.

This day serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility as scientists: to use animal models with rigor, compassion, and a commitment to scientific progress that benefits both human and animal health.
