FLxFlow - Lisbon Flow Cytometry Network Portuguese network for Flow Cytometry aiming to bring together core facilities in the Lisbon area.

The Flow Cytometry facilities from Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes, Champalimaud Foundation and CEDOC - Chronic Diseases Research Center, the major research biomedical institutions in Lisbon, Portugal, have founded in 2016 the FLxFlow network - a group aiming to gather expertise in flow cytometry in the Lisbon area. This cooperation will enable th

e development of new protocols and solutions in line with the latest advances in the flow cytometry field, with an economy of time and effort.

Yesterday, the FLxFlow team had the opportunity to present our poster "FLxFlow-HDSpect: Progress in the Implementation of a Collaborative Infrastructure for Advanced Spectral Flow Cytometry in Portugal" at CYTO 2026 in West Palm Beach.

It was a great opportunity to share the progress of our collaborative network, exchange experiences with colleagues from around the world, discuss emerging technologies, and strengthen connections within the international flow cytometry community.

As part of our mission to promote access to advanced cytometry technologies and training, we also took the opportunity to showcase the upcoming 6th FLxFlow Course – Principles and Applications of Flow Cytometry, which will take place from 16–20 November 2026 at the NOVA Medical School - Faculdade de Ciências Médicas.

Early-bird registration until 5 July 2026
