SITE SURVEYOR

A site surveyor in construction accurately measures and maps land, establishing precise boundaries, elevations, and features to guide project planning, layout, and ex*****on, ensuring compliance with designs and regulations using tools like GPS and Total Stations, and collaborating with engineers and architects to maintain precision from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

***Data Collection & Analysis: Conduct physical surveys, measure distances, angles, and elevations, and analyze data to create accurate maps, reports, and legal descriptions.
Site Layout & Staking: Set out precise locations for foundations, roads, utilities, and other structures using survey markers.
***Compliance & Verification: Ensure construction adheres to design specifications, building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
***Technical Support: Provide guidance on site layout, grading, excavation, and utility installation to construction crews.
***Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, plats, and record drawings for project records and legal purposes.
***Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction managers to resolve issues and maintain project integrity.
***Equipment Management: Use and maintain advanced surveying equipment like Total Stations, GPS, drones, and theodolites.
