After backpacking for 4 years in Europe, New Zealand, Central and South America, we stopped in Australia in 2016. We worked in hostels and local farms as many backpackers, and started to work with Heartland Grazing QLD in December 2016, to regenerate lands and to develop accommodations and campsites. We are graduated in sustainable tourism and land planning, in agroecology and general farming management. We have a strong professional background in managing touristic accommodations and farms.
After planting hundreds of species, left the food growing and set up a beautiful B&B at the Barn in Brookfield, QLD, we came to Clarendon to manage the free-range chicken and eggs farm production. We opened the food forest campsite where we grow organic veggies and plant, and set up a service to help local farmers in finding skilled backpackers to work at their place. We have always believed that life is a mystery to experience by discovering locals through travels, education and farming, especially producing food on the most sustainable way. We created Agro Echo System in 2017 with one goal: to support the extension of sustainable farming in Australia and overseas, through the concept of agroecology and thanks to Australians, their lifestyle and their farming improvement wish.
With the support of Heartland Grazing QLD in following the goal to regenerate lands and create food forests, we do land transformation and advice on how to be more sustainable. As former backpackers and local farmers, we provide the knowledge and the workforce to highlight the best of farming in Australia. We connect people to jobs, sustainable farming and training : so then we support the connection between employers and job seekers as backpackers, and we help the farmers to turn stress, unforeseen events, or lack of time into strength.
We are based in Amalua Farm, Clarendon,QLD where we train the staff and teach our guests and students about farming, gardening and planting for food production. Also, we welcome holiday makers at our first food forest Campsite in Clarendon. All campers can enjoy for free the quality of the food growing in the gardens. We also sell our eggs and chicken production, grown at Amalua Farm.
If you own a land that you want to transform into a more sustainable agrosystem, we can help you ! If you want to free up time and increase profitability, we have solutions. If you are local farmers and usually employ backpackers, we help you in finding the reliable skilled staff you are looking for.
