Ce se întâmplă când expui la flacără două cabluri cu izolații diferite?

În demonstrația practică din cadrul workshop-ului la care am participat săptămâna trecută, diferența a fost clară.
Cablul cu izolație PVC a cedat după doar 1 minut și 35 de secunde, a emanat fum toxic și a produs scurtcircuit.
Cablul Cabi Wires cu izolație siliconică a rezistat 2 ore și 53 de minute fără scurtcircuit, menținând integritatea circuitului și continuitatea curentului.
Din considerente practice, testul a fost oprit manual după 2 ore și 53 de minute, nu pentru că acest cablu ar fi cedat.

Când siguranța este critică, alegerea materialului face diferența.
