This week, we were invited to hold a panel at the 12th installment of the PocketQube Satellite Conference, about our past missions and future plans. We networked with numerous industry experts, having the opportunity to listen to their experiences and the challenges they encountered throughout the development of their missions. We want to thank the organizers Alba Orbital and sponsors for making the Conference happen, and are excited to come back next year!

ROM-3 has successfully reached space!!
In just 7 days, it will be deployed into orbit from Albapod, operated by Alba Orbital. Once the batteries charge, the antenna will open, allowing us to receive the first signals.

THIS IS ROM-3!
ROM-3, built by five high school students, represents our second mission this year. ROM-2’s younger sibling, our first picosatellite that reached orbit earlier this summer, ROM-3 underwent thorough refurbishment with upgraded components.
We began working on it in late 2022 and sent it to Glasgow, for integration in mid July 2023. ROM-3 successfully entered orbit on the 11th of November 2023 during the Transporter-9 small sat ride sharing mission operated by SpaceX. Its primary mission remains centered on Earth observation, reinforcing our commitment to scientific exploration from the cosmos.
