The aim of PRIDENTPRO project is to establish improved highly biocompatible composite material with nanoparticles inclusions and new manufacturing technique for highly defined and accurate dental prosthesis, a high tech social denture, with reduced number of appointments, chair time and adjustments, at affordable costs. Due to rapidly growing of elderly population and subsequently of the number of
edentulous people requiring complete and over dentures there will be an increased market for such dental devices. The exploitation of the project results will support the health policy for improving and maintaining the oral health and functionality providing a better quality of life for elderly patients, and for edentulous patients in general. As results of our project we propose new improved materials and a protocol for any dental laboratory production owing adequate equipment - 3D printer and CAD/CAM software.
