🔧 Installation of the ZEO-DC Chain Conveyor (100 t/h) сompleted.
Another project milestone has been successfully completed. During this stage, the team carried out section assembly, installation of the drive and tension stations, mounting of the traction chain, alignment verification of the conveyor route, and equipment preparation.

ZEO-DC chain conveyors ensure reliable transportation of grain and grain-processing products, even on complex routes and under intensive operating conditions. The quality of installation directly affects the stable performance of the equipment throughout many seasons of operation.

Commissioning works are still ahead, and today we are sharing photos from the installation process of the equipment that will soon be transporting hundreds of tons of product every day.

Why do some equipment components operate reliably for years, while others require repairs after just a few seasons? ⚙️

Capacity, drive power, and equipment cost are usually listed in a commercial proposal. However, there are other factors that have an equally significant impact on equipment reliability.

Shafts, sprockets, axles, and other highly loaded components are constantly exposed to friction, impact, and cyclic stresses during operation. That is why critical parts undergo heat treatment.

The photos show components before and after hardening, as well as the inspection of their properties following the treatment process.

After heat treatment, every critical component is inspected to ensure it meets the required specifications before being installed in the equipment. 🔍

For the customer, this means:
✔ longer service life of key components;
✔ fewer unplanned repairs;
✔ lower operating costs;
✔ reliable equipment performance during the season.

It is these seemingly small details that ultimately determine equipment durability and reliability in daily operation.

Self-cleaning boot: why has it become important? 🌾

This is directly related to the development of the grain processing industry in Ukraine. The effect is especially noticeable at feed mills, food-processing and seed production facilities, where line capacity is relatively low (10–50 tph), crops are frequently changed, and product cleanliness requirements are high.

One of the main problems of conventional bucket elevators remains the so-called “dead zone” in the boot section. Residual grain, dust, and impurities accumulate in the lower part. All of this requires periodic cleaning, which in turn leads to downtime of the conveying process line.

The ZEO-BE self-cleaning bucket elevator solves this problem through its design. The boot geometry is engineered so that the buckets remove almost all product from the lower section of the elevator during operation. ⚙️

A bucket elevator of this design with a capacity of 20 tph has been successfully installed and is operating at YEDNIST’ GROUP (“Inter-Yednist Holding”).

As a result, the facility receives:
✔️ minimal product residues;
✔️ faster switching between crops;
✔️ lower risk of dust accumulation;
✔️ more stable drive load.

At the same time, a standard boot remains a rational solution for grain elevators, grain storage facilities, and grain terminals due to its ability to handle capacities of up to 1500 tph.

During the modernization of the aspiration system at a processing plant’s pelleting line, Grain Capital specialists installed local and venting filters (ZEO-FUV/FUG, ZEO-FB ⚙️).
