“NEUROTWIN was much more than just a research grant – it was a transformative experience,” says TINS director, Raul Cristian Muresan.
The collaborations built and the research enabled through this project have permanently altered the trajectory of neuroscience in Romania, turning a once-overlooked field into a vibrant, growing research community.
To achieve its goals, TINS, as the leading partner, brought together world-class partners:
- Ernst Strüngmann Institut (Germany)
- Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour (UK)
- Institut Imagine (France).
