Today, at the Data Center Forum 2026, Sebastian Enache highlighted one of the key lessons learned from the renewable energy sector: speed alone is not enough — without secured grid connection, projects cannot move forward. In the future of data centers, resilient infrastructure means combining robust grid access, renewable energy production, and large-scale battery storage into one integrated model.
The panel also addressed:
➡️ Why integrated hubs combining renewables, batteries, and large consumers are becoming the new industry standard;
➡️ How Romania can position itself as an attractive destination for future data center investments in Europe;
➡️ The importance of long-term access to stable, clean, and competitive energy sources;
➡️ Monsson’s role in developing the energy infrastructure that can support future large-scale digital investments;
With over 216 MWh of hybrid storage projects under development and a 1,070 MWh battery pipeline together with Prime Batteries, Monsson continues to invest in the infrastructure required for the next generation of industrial and digital consumers.
Thank you to the organizers and all participants for the valuable discussions and insights shared throughout the event.
