ICMET Craiova ICMET High Power Laboratory provides short circuit, switching testing and short time current testing based on international standards.

ICMET Craiova is a well-known brand in Europe and many other countries around the world in the field of testing, calibration and certification of low and high voltage electrical and electrotechnical equipment, with more than 50 years in the field. ICMET laboratories are full members of LOVAG - Low Voltage Agreement Group international organization (http://www.icmet.ro/44.pdf) and “APPLICANT” members of STL (Short-circuit Testing Liaison – the international organization of the High Power laboratories) http://stl-liaison.org/web/04_Applicants.php. ICMET performs type tests for the certification and assessment of the performance of electrical equipment according to the applicable international standards and upon special request from the customers. ICMET has experience in:
• High Voltage, High Power and Low Voltage research, development and testing
• Monitoring and Diagnosis of the electrical power equipment
• Measuring of electrical and non-electrical quantities
• Electromagnetic Compatibility
ICMET Craiova has competence in the field of:
• Unconventional technologies using the effect of the vibratory stress relief
• Unconventional technologies using the effect of the compressed - air at supersonic velocity
• High voltage and high current calibrations.
