Another baggage handling system heading to the Middle East ✈️
Our BHS for Amman City Airport مطار مدينة عمان in Jordan has passed its Factory Acceptance Test, and part of the equipment has already left our factory.

The system covers the full baggage journey — both arrivals and departures — and was designed, built and tested entirely at our factory in Iași, Romania.

Jordan now joins a growing map of CITCOnveyors projects across the region, alongside our work in Kuwait, Yemen and beyond.

✈️ Factory Acceptance Test for Yozgat Airport, Turkey
We had the honor to host an official visit for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Yozgat Airport in Turkey.

Teams that took part:
🔹 SELF TRUST - The Romanian Conveyor Factory
🔹 UBS Airport Systems
🔹 İNTAŞ İNŞAAT, the general contractor
🔹 Altyapı Yatırımları Genel Müdürlüğü - AYGM, the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure

The FAT is an important step before delivery. We check together, at the factory, that the equipment meets the project requirements.

Iași International Airport is home to the first Advanced Self-Service Bag Drop (ABD+) system in Romania — a joint solution by CITCOnveyors and our partner Objective.

ABD+ takes self-service check-in a step further: passengers complete the full baggage drop process themselves — weighing, dimensioning, tag validation and baggage image capture — with no staff assistance required.

We're proud to see this technology live and in daily use at Iași Airport, marking a new milestone for self-service infrastructure at Romanian airports.

We want to thank our partner Objective, who opened Panel 5 at the AAR Annual Conference alongside our CEO Dan Micu, presenting the self-service passenger and baggage solutions we work with — from check-in and bag drop to baggage reconciliation and boarding.

The event was hosted by IASI Airport at the Henri Coandă Hall, Palace of Culture, bringing together airport leaders and industry partners to discuss regional connectivity, resilience, and sustainable development.

We're glad to have been part of it.

Today, our General Manager Mihai T**a is on stage at the AAR Annual Conference, hosted by IASI Airport at the Henri Coandă Hall, Palace of Culture.
