We gladly inform you that our automated test flight for planting tree seeds capsules was a succes!

Uav Robotics Athena copter modified for reforestation has made the first succesful flight shooting capsules from a height of 10 meters above terrain - watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYM8Oo5ELNU

Using it's CO2 gun connected to it's special custom made autopilot, Athena executed a straight line trajectory 30 meters long, shooting twenty 17mm high velocity capsules that penetrated the frozen ground below the snow 4 cm deep! No intervention from human side, except programming the mission, which means Athena is capable of planting trees anywhere, anytime, without human support!
Still in testing phase, tree seeding copter will have to pass, next month, the autonomy test: we are aiming for 500 capsules per flight, plus a reloading system as fast as 5 minutes until next takeoff.
Price for this kind of system will be less than 3500 euros, allowing volunteers or associations all over the world to start seeding trees immediately for less than 0,05 euros / capsule. Custom made capsules for different type of fields/climate/application will be available.
