A successful few days at EPUAP 2026 in Dublin!
At the LINET booth, visitors had the opportunity to explore our solutions for patient care and pressure injury prevention, including Essenza 400 with HybriMatt 200 IN, Multicare X with OptiCare X, and the Virtuoso mattress.
We were delighted by the strong interest in our solutions and the many valuable conversations with healthcare professionals. A live demonstration of Multicare X with OptiCare X also showed how the bed and support surface can work together to support both patients and caregivers.
Another highlight was our workshop, “Beyond the Surface: Smarter Decisions for Patient Support,” which focused on practical decision-making when selecting and using support surfaces according to patients’ changing needs.

Angola’s healthcare transformation continues! 🇦🇴🌍 And this is marked by the opening of the third hospital in a row, fully equipped with LINET. The newly opened Hospital Especializado em Queimados Presidente Julius Nyerere/President Julius Nyerere Specialized Burns Hospital has 54! Multicare X beds and other innovations from our portfolio!

The official inauguration of the Hospital Presidente Julius Nyerere in Luanda took place in the presence of Angolan officials, including President João Lourenço and Ministry of Health Representatives, and was also attended by Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of Tanzania, and the family of Julius Nyerere, the 1st president of Tanzania.

The hospital is a specialist burns centre with a total capacity of 252 beds. Its unique facilities include three hyperbaric chambers to accelerate wound healing and equipment enabling advanced imaging methods, including 3T magnetic resonance imaging.
Another major highlight is the choice of state-of-the-art Multicare X ICU beds, featuring versatile lateral positioning and the automatic ALT function for clinical purposes. In addition, the wards are equipped with Eleganza 1 beds, dozens of Sprint 100 stretchers, Pura chairs and, last but not least, the unique AVE 2 delivery bed. Another technological innovation is the Hybrimatt 100 hybrid mattress, which combines active and passive mattresses in one.

It’s our honour to be a part of building new infrastructure and increasing the quality and accessibility of healthcare in Angola—a big thank you to the Angolan Ministry of Health for its trust. And to our Angolan business partner, Medeng, led by Edgar Meireles, for its excellent cooperation, support, and hard work.
