Conveyor for splitting finished package flow into 2 lines

A snack manufacturer from Saint Petersburg, Russia needed to automate the splitting of a package flow into two directions. Flexible distribution logic was required: the machine had to be able to direct packages both alternately (one at a time) and in groups of several packages at once.

The distance from Saint Petersburg to the Notis production facility is 4,000 km. Yet the client chose our solution.

1. Seamless integration. The Notis diverting conveyor was integrated into an existing packaging line from a third-party manufacturer. Everything works as a single, coordinated system.

2. Reliability in the details. A diverter may seem like a simple unit - but in practice, third-party machines can fail unpredictably.

In April, the NOTIS service department once again received spare part requests for equipment aged 20+ years.

VFFS packaging machines, linear weigh fillers, on-machine seasoning systems — all still running on active production floors after two decades of operation.

Seasoning Application on Potato Chips: Industrial Technology

Test run of the MNH-01-NOTIS industrial bread dicing machine at a customer’s facility.

Automated Packaging of Meat Snacks (https://youtu.be/xwltyvInIeo)

The video shows an automated packaging line for sausage sticks operating at a meat processing plant in Russia.

The product is packed into thermoformed trays with a 150 g target weight. Portions are formed by the DVK-NOTIS multi-head weigher.
The multi-head weigher selects an optimal combination of pieces with different individual weights.

Dosing accuracy is significantly higher than national standard requirements, while the average weight over a production shift matches the nominal value — without product giveaway.

NOTIS automated the distribution of portions into three trays in a row, integrating the dosing system into the existing production line.
