Turning-and-boring machine 1525Ф3 - Reliability has been proven by years of impeccable work.
The installation was completed and turning-and-boring machine model 1525Ф3 was handed over to the Customer JSC "Dalenergomash".
Turning-and-boring machines are designed for roughing and finishing of steel and cast-iron parts, products made of non-ferrous metals and their alloys, as well as non-metallic materials.
The 1525Ф3 machine allows to process parts with a maximum diameter up to 2500 mm and a weight up to 16 ton.
The main advantages of turning-and-boring machines are:
• processing of oversized workpieces of large mass;
• easy installation and fixing of large workpieces and products;
• the possibility to use several tools for processing;
• a wide range of operations performed.
Machine tool factories that actively produced these machines during Soviet times mostly stopped their production or significantly reduced the number of machines produced. However, the obvious fact is that, as a rule, domestic turning-and-boring machines are unique machines; they continue to function perfectly, and their reliability has been proven by years of impeccable work.
Nowadays the issue of repair and modernization of turning-and-boring machines has come to the forefront since it is not always possible to purchase a new machine like this; besides, the repair takes 4-6 months, and the manufacture of a new machine takes more than a year.
A used bed of a Soviet machine with professionally made modernization and capital repair was used in the machine design. Racks, crossbar, calipers were polished; new ballscrews, bearings, hydraulics, lubrication were installed.
The machine is equipped with CNC system and feed drives FANUC (Japan).
FANUC i0TF CNC system with connected options:
• Manual Guide is a functional environment that allows the operator to create, edit and check control programs in a simple dialogue mode. ManualGuide allows processing in manual mode as on universal equipment.
• Two-circuit processing option allows to work with the left and right caliper simultaneously.
Some technical features: a circular photoelectric sensor with a resolution of 6400 rpm was installed in the table design for threading; it is allowed achieving the required accuracy even when cutting multi-input threads.
