GAZPROM holds the world’s largest natural gas reserves and is a reliable supplier of gas to Russian and foreign consumers. The Group's gas reserves were estimated at 33.6 trillion cubic meters. And the share in the global gas reserves makes up 18 per cent.

GAZPROM is committed to the principle of producing as much gas as demanded. At the moment the annual gas procuction is about more than 500 billion cubic meters of gas. Provided there are favorable conditions in foreign and domestic markets, as well as solvent consumer demand in Russia, Gazprom may produce up to 660 billion cubic meters of gas a year by 2020.

GAZPROM has the world’s largest gas transmission network – the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia with the total length of over 160 thousand kilometers. It represents a unique engineering complex encompassing gas production, processing, transmission, storage and distribution facilities. It assures continuous gas supply from the wellhead to the ultimate consumer.
